Blogs in Nigeria... What went wrong?

Hi, this is the first issue i wanna tackle; first of all, blogs were created for various reasons which I'm guessing is to talk about personal experiences or popular life changing stories or blah blah of that sort. But, no we Nigerians have new definition of blogs....we hype wack songs that won't last a week on someone's mind or make it to that chart....or celebrity news that are completely meaningless...or the issue of advertising products that on one cares about (which keeps popping up as ads on your screen when you go to the blog) well the list is endless. I do not wanna sound like a hater but, think about...what really went wrong? I'd love to see your opinions.....
